| Title | Still Life of Flowers in a Glass Vase on a Ledge |
| Description | This beautiful 19th century Dutch School oil painting is attributed to artist JvP, as signed lower left. It is a fantastic example of a Dutch still life floral oil painting and the identity of the artist warrants more research. The painting is a mixed summer floral arrangement of iris, poppies and roses to name but a few. The arrangement is housed in a glass bowl, positioned on a wooden ledge with a plum throw draped over. The realist detail of the drops of water on the front leaves and the edging on the throw are incredible. A really charming Dutch floral oil painting finished off in a swept ornate frame. Signed with initial JvP on ledge lower left. |
