About Richard Taylor Fine Art
- The website hosts a collection British and European artworks from the 17th to 20th century and all are for sale. There are over 500 paintings to choose from.
- The gallery specialises in: British and Scottish oil paintings, Old Masters, Victorian genre oil painting, floral paintings, portrait paintings and landscape oil painting.
- All works are for sale and all enquiries are welcome.
- New work is added monthly.
- Please note we do not puchase paintings privately or provide valuations or research. Please contact your local auciton house if this is the service that you require.
How to Purchase
Online:
- Find the painting you want to buy. Choose the option to “buy now” and your request will be processed.
- If you want to make an offer for a painting then use the “make offer” option on the painting that you are interested in and this option will be processed. This tool has been created to allow you direct contact if you wish to negotiate a price; please state clearly your offer.
- No payments are taken online on this website. There in no payment gateway.
Direct:
- If you do not want to use our online system and want to purchase, we are available to take phone orders from 10 AM to 5 PM UK London time every day. Or email us to place the order.
- Richard Taylor Fine Art trading as Fine Arts Investment Ltd, Company Number 9555110 is an online only gallery. The registered address is 90c Worcester Road, Hagley, DY9ONJ.
- We do not have a physical gallery and no paintings can be viewed at our premises.

Payment Method
- Payment by wire transfer is preferred, easiest and most secure. There is no fee for this facility. Payments should be in British GBP.
- If you wish to pay by card then this can be made via Paypal or via the Arcarta secure card payment gateway.
- Paintings will only be shipped to the registered card address and proof of address and photos ID may be required and requested.
- If you are an AMP (Art Market Participant) you need to be registered with AML5 for us to do business with you for transactions over 10000 Euros.
Artist Resale Rights. A 4% charge is added to the invoice of any painting that is sold where the artist is still alive or who has died in the last 70 years. This levy will be passed onto the relevant collection agency.
Data Protection
- Under Anti Money Laundering Regulations, Richard Taylor Fine Art / Fine Arts Investment Limited is required by AML5 law to ask you for photo ID and proof of address for purchases over 10000 Euros.
- Any documents provided can be sent securely via the Arcarta platform and, in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018, are only used for purposes of AML regulations.
- Richard Taylor Fine Art adheres to the GDPR principles and only keeps the minimum data that is a legal requirement, for a legitimate purpose. It is kept confidential. Data must be kept securely for five years before being destroyed.
- Fine Arts Investment Ltd has a Data Protection Registration Certificate issued by the Information Commissioner's Office, in line with data protection.
Email Marketing
Under ICO and GDPR guidelines and law Richard Taylor Fine Art can automatically register you to our client email marketing list if you have purchased a painting from us. This is known as soft opt in. At any point you can opt out of this by clicking the unsubscribe button on the newsletter communication. If you haven't purchased from us and would like to be on our mailing list then let us know via the contact page and we will add you.
Delivery
- Delivery will take place after payment has been received in full. It will usually take 2-7 working days from payment being received.
- We only use the best courier services and all purchases are sent tracked courier to UK, European and USA locations.
- Your painting will be very well packed in purpose purchased custom made boxes and materials to ensure their safety. We can also offer insurance.
- Shipping prices vary depending on size. We ship to the UK, to Europe, to USA and the Rest Of World. We only use the best couriers. All shipments are tracked and insured.
Painting Return Policy
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will within 14 days refund 100% of your order upon its return to us in the condition that it was sent.
You must pay the return costs and contact us prior to any return so we can give you specific return instructions and correct returns address.
