Description | A stunning church interior by Philip F Walker who exhibited between 1883-1905. The location is believed to be Amiens Cathedral. The light pours in from the left illuminating the lady praying. The candelabra are a riot of colour in a meditative setting. It is an impressive painting and a fine example of a 19th century British oil painting with good subject. Very well painted and in excellent condition. |
