| Title |
Still Life of Tulips and Fruit |
| Description |
This superb British still life oil painting is attributed to circle of William Nicholson. Painted circa 1920 it is a really lush and vibrant composition of white tulips in a blue jug on a table beside fruit and an ornate glass. There is a wonderful fluidity to it as the tulips arch over the fruit forming a circle. The painting is rich with heavy impasto and is an absolute delight. An excellent example of a 1920's still life oil painting housed in a lovely Bourlet frame. |
