|Description||This absolutely charming Edwardian portrait oil painting is by noted artist Edward Francis Wells. Painted in 1908, the sitter is Brian de Lolme Bullock as a six year old boy. (See his details below artist's biography.) It is a standing half length portrait of Brian resting his hands on a post, dressed in a green sweater and red cap. A landscape cam be seen beyond him with cattle in a field. It's a very sweet portrait with great detail and brushwork and an excellent example of a British Edwardian oil painting by Wells.
Signed and dated 1908 lower left.
