Painted circa 1930, it is a depiction of a young woman, a female artist, in an interior, stood holding her palette and brushes. Her dark hair matches her cardigan and the rest is a combination of lovely greeny olive tones. There is superb detail in her face as she gazes at the viewer. A really lovely self portrait of a female artist at work. |
