The portrait is framed behind glass in a magnificent double swept gilt frame of the period. The oil/pastel on paper are supported on canvas. I believe this is a British portrait. A fine, large portrait by one of the best pastel portrait artist of the period.This is one of the best pastel portraits I have. |
