Edward Tayler (1826-1906)
Edward Tayler (1828 Switzerland -1906 England) Painter of miniature portraits and figure studies in both oils and watercolour and a Birmingham School artist. 'The father of present day miniature painters' (AJ 1906). Exhibited from 1849 at the RA for more than three decades and elsewhere.
