Maud Porter (Exhibited 1888-1905)

Maud Porter (Exh. 1888-1905). Porter was a British Victorian female artist and portrait painter in oils and watercolours. She exhibited at The Royal Academy, The Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Royal Oil Painters Institute, The Walker Art Gallery, The Royal Institute of Painters, The New Gallery, The Manchester City Art Gallery and The Society of Women Artists. One of her portraits hangs in the British National Collection, a portrait of Admiral Seymour.
