Victor Marcou (1879-1934)
Victor Marcou (1879 - 1934) Born in Rouen, Marcou was a noted French animal artist, renowned for his paintings of animals, especially dogs. He studied at Beaux Arts in 1892-1896 and was a student under Dufour and Marchand. He won a medal in 1913 at the Concours de Paris. He died in Paris in 1934.
