Thomas Bunting (1851-1928)

Thomas Bunting (1851-1928). Scottish artist Bunting lived and worked in Aberdeen painting landscapes of there and Perthshire his whole life. He was a member of the Aberdeen Artists’ Society, which  was established in 1827 and he showed there in 1885.The painterly Realism of George Reid influenced Bunting for the rest of his career. Bunting exhibited in Aberdeen and also at the Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts.
