John Berridge (1740-1804)
John Berridge (1740-1804). British 18th century artist active in the second half of the 18th century painting oil portraits. Berridge studied under Joshua Reynolds. He belonged to the Royal Society of Arts and in 1769 became a member of the Incorporated Society of Artists. He exhibited between 1785 and 1797 art the Royal Academy, London.
