Harry Leslie Baldry (1866-1890)

Harry Lesley Baldry (1866-1890) was a portrait painter in oils. He was originally from Norfolk but his large family moved to Brighton when he was five. By the age of twelve, in 1881 the family were based in London at 12 Mornington Road St Pancras with the addition of 5 more siblings. Baldry married Florence Digby in 1890 and they had one son also called Harry, born at Hampstead. He worked as an artist throughout his life.
