Wiltshire Landscape

This lovely British Post Impressionist Wiltshire landscape oil painting is from a collection of Peter L Field paintings acquired from the family. Painted circa 1950 the composition is fields with farm dwellings to the left and some towering trees to the right in the middle ground. The vibrant yellow and green palette and strong Post Impressionist brushwork are superb. A really stunning oil painting and an excellent example of Peter Field’s work.
