Description Scottish noted artist J A Henderson Tabert painted this lovely Scottish Impressionist landscape oil painting circa 1905. The composition is harvest time and in the foreground the hay is gathered up into stooks to dry. Beyond are the workers and behind them an expansive landscape and lake side hamlet beneath a staggeringly beautiful sky as the light and shadows catches the clouds and countryside below.
