|Description||A fine oil on canvas portrait which dates to circa 1910 by noted British portrait and landscape artist Cecil Stuart Jameson. It is a super portrait oil painting which depicts Mignon Margaret Muirhead Tanner. Her daughter, Gillian Kluane Tanner, won the George Medal for bravery whilst in the Auxiliary Fire Service in the second world war. Full of vitality and impressionistic colour it is a very evocative subtle and sublime portrait. He was a prolific exhibitor at the British Art Institutions in the inter war period. It is a fine period British portrait oil painting.

He was a portrait and landscape painter in oil.
