Description A fine ink and grey wash watercolour painted circa 1770 by Sara Troost.  A superb Old Master Dutch religious artwork which depicts The Cucifixion with The Virgin, Saint John and Mary Magdalene. It is sublime in its execution and is a very fine artwork painted in the 18th century by a female artist.
 
Provenance Christie’s Amsterdam Sept 4th 2001 sale.
