Description A superb British Impressionist oil on canvas which dates to circa 1914. This  painting is by Frederick James Hackman who was a London based artist. It is a good early twentieth century example of British impressionism. Housed in a fine gallery frame. The style is similar to The Glasgow Boys Scottish School - artists like George Henry. A well painted example of British Impressionism, this is a lovely example of his work in very good  condition.
