Description This fascinating large  painting is by noted British artist Charles A. Buchel. He designed theatrical programmes and illustrations as well as his more well known portraits of film stars.  The painting:  The Procession depicts Shakespearian characters from A Mid Summer Night's Dream. It's a really lovely painting in excellent condition and is dated 1907 and just full of detail and colourful characters.

Provenance By descent through the family of the artist prior to Bonhams.
